When multiple casings within a well casings group are electrically connected together without insulating flanges between them they should be protected as a whole. Because there is no anti-corrosion coating outside of casing surface the current shielding effect is apparent among casings and thus the protection results is affected. In this work the regional cathodic protection mathematical model is established based on numerical simulation technology in which not only the protection results are calculated under different anode distribution schemes but also the cathodic protection interference problems between well ground and exterior pipelines are analyzed. The results are valuable in determining the regional cathodic protection scheme for casing well ground.
