The polyurea technology has been developed by Texaco chemical in the 80’s. First developed for the reaction-injection-molding (RIM), it has been adapted for spray application. Since then, a lot of improvements in formulations have been done and a broader market application is achieved. Even so, a generic polyurea cannot fulfill all the requirements for every application. In our paper, we will highlight the latest spray polyurea system development in order to fit the requirement of new market application.
