This paper provides an outline of the development work undertaken and performance advances made with new generation “cold spray aluminium” technology in comparison to traditional high temperature coating systems. An introduction into developed test methodologies for coating evaluation (both insulated and atmospheric service), as well as product performance both laboratory and field based, is also described.
