In 2009 the City contracted again with an engineer for a periodic inspection of the tank including the interior surfaces. The results of the evaluation lead to planning between the city and its engineer for the completion of maintenance repairs scheduled for the summer of 2011. In the end, surfaces coated with moisture-cured organic zinc, performed best.
