High chromium nickel alloys were tested at the Idaho Chemical Processing Plant (ICPP) to determine their corrosion performance in the high temperature aggressive chemical environments of liquid waste evaporators used in the chemical reprocessing of irradiated nuclear
fuels. The results of these tests, which included a variety of base metal alloys / weld filler material combinations, are presented and discussed.
