This NACE Recommended Practice was prepared by Work Group T-10B-5a of Unit Committee T-10B on Interference Problems and is issued by NACE under the auspices of Group Committee T-10 on Underground Corrosion Control. It presents guidelines and procedures for use during design, construction, operation, and maintenance of metallic structures and corrosion control systems used to mitigate the effects of lightning and overhead alternating current (AC) power transmission systems. This recommended practice is not intended to supersede or replace existing electrical safety standards.
