Inhibitors are routinely employed in chemical cleaning solvents used for
electrical power plants and industrial equipment since these cleaning solvents surfhces. This paper discusses the development of three new inhibitors hydrochloric acid, ammoniated EDTA or Citric acid chemical cleaning removing scale from are corrosive to metal developed for use in
solutions. Synthesis procedures used in the production of Mannich derivatives employed in the i&ibitors were optimized for maximum corrosion resistance and reduced toxicity. All auxiliary ingredients used in the formulation of final inhibitor products were chosen to give the lowest possible toxicity of these products.
