An analysis of the flat panel corrosion rates from the one-year exposures in the IS0 CORRAG program has been carried out to determine the extent of correlation between the four metals used in this study. The corrosion rates all showed highly significant correlations when compared on a logarithmic basis. This conversion was necessary to eliminate bias from the correlation of standard deviation with average values. Residual analysis showed that times of wetness accelerated steel, zinc, and
copper corrosion more than aluminum. Sulk dioxide accelerated zinc more than copper, and chloride accelerated steel more than zinc and aluminum, and copper more than aluminum.
